The maths, stated once
Every casino game has a house edge. Over enough bets, the expected outcome is a loss. No strategy, VIP tier or rakeback rate changes that — rakeback reduces the cost of playing, it does not overcome the edge. Anyone telling you a system beats the house is either wrong or selling something.
Warning signs
Any one of these is worth pausing over. Several together is worth acting on.
- Betting more than you planned, or more than you can comfortably lose
- Trying to win back what you have lost
- Borrowing money, selling things, or using funds meant for something else to play
- Hiding how much you play or lose from people close to you
- Playing to escape stress, low mood, boredom or anxiety
- Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut down
- Gambling affecting your work, sleep, studies or relationships
If you're unsure, most of the services below offer a free, confidential self-assessment.
Tools you can use today
- Deposit and loss limits. Most operators, including Yeet, offer account limits. Set them when you are calm, not mid-session.
- Self-exclusion. Ask the operator's support to close or suspend your account. A reputable operator will action this without argument.
- BetBlocker (betblocker.org) — free software that blocks thousands of gambling sites across your devices. No cost, no registration.
- Gamban (gamban.com) — paid blocking software, provided free through some national support programmes.
- GAMSTOP (gamstop.co.uk) — free self-exclusion across all UK-licensed operators.

If someone else's gambling is affecting you
Most of the services above support family members and friends as well as players. Gam-Anon (gam-anon.org) exists specifically for people affected by someone else's gambling. You do not need that person's agreement to get support for yourself.
Age restriction
Gambling is restricted to adults aged 18 or over, and 19 or over in some jurisdictions. This site is not intended for anyone under that age, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. Parents can use free filtering tools including BetBlocker to restrict access on shared devices.
